Really fascinating to watch Telus Sky and Vancouver House built at the same time (at nearly the same pace too). I wonder if there are any similar examples of such clear "sister buildings" in Canada or elsewhere around the world?

I'm hoping that we get frequent updates on this construction and many others from Vancouver.

Here's some construction pictures I took while walking around downtown Victoria on the weekend. Unsure about some of these locations and building but hopefully someone from Victoria can correct me if it's wrong.

The Summit on Hillside Avenue between Blanshard Street and Quadra Street.

Six floor building in the excavation phase on Fort Street. I think it was at the intersection of Cook Street.

Construction site on View Street by Vancouver Street.

Two construction sites north of Yates Street by Vancouver Street.

I think this one is Legato at 17 floors.

1515 Douglas

Cranes for Encore.

Hudson Walk Phase 2 on Caledonia Avenue at Blanshard Street.

Pictures by me.

Have IO chosen a winner yet? Do I want to know? What are the chances of them chosen one of the best firms in the world over a 3rd rate firm from south of the border?
