I did a hasty labelling job of the contruction sites in this recent photo of False Creek North/Yaletown that was posted in the Vancouver Construction thread.

A number of the projects involve multiple buildings, such as the Olympic Village that will have a dozen or so plus a private sector buildout of another couple dozen.

I also added a crude approximation of the Canada Line bored tunnel under False Creek and the one visible station.

There are two more photos that I'm going to label but I want to do that at home using photoshop and not paint, which is all I have available to me at work.

Toronto has b-a at 50 storeys and ritz at 54 also soon to be trump at 72. And what happened to the Melleville, that bronze thing on top ruins the look of it!

Penny Lane East (210.5m) and The Bow (236m) are both as tall as, or taller than, Petro Canada West (215m).

the first floor over Simcoe's loading docks is almost done so they should be moving them back soon to dig out the rest of the site, and erect the final cranes. Toronto should have over 150 up by summer not including the dozens in the 905

A Four Crane Building! Amazing

I have never seen a four crane building under construction in Toronto. - Maybe for Scotia Plaza...but I watched that one go up from my bedroom window as a kid. And cant remember how many cranes there were cause of the distance from my home. And I was to young to go and check it out in person.

From this picture Scotia Plaza looks to have only 2 cranes (one on either side of the concrete elevator shaft)...hmm
