old city photos?

Ive seen alot of historical pictures of canadian cities on this site over the past few years. i was wondering where most of these pictures have come from. i know that provincial archive websites have some historic photos, but any other sites for canadian cities? thanks

http://www.thunderbaymuseum.com/index.htm and http://www.fwhp.ca/homepage.html have old pics of the lakehead, but you have to dig around.

Also try http://www.flickr.com/ (GREAT source for photographs of cities, some people have scanned in old photographs) and there is one other site, I think it's called community snapshots or something, it has a lot of pictures of cities from the past.

may possibly be on the same topic, does anyone here have any maps/pictures predating the Port Mann Bridge in Vancouver (prior to 1964)?? i've been looking all over and have yet to find a thing.

glenbow's collection is exstensive. i find it to be one of the best reasources for old school Calgary
