I love how this NYC residential skyscraper turned out!, it looks better than the renderings!!

Due to its location, this tower really makes a presence on the skyline.

This is a great tower. The slanted roof makes this building a nice piece of architecture.

It's a lovely building, but I think it would have been even better if the vertical tan/limestone portions projected out a little on the building's face. It's not as attractive being flush with those windows - and balconies could have bit placed in the area between the two vertical areas.

First question: when did the name change to Epic? They should've called it "the Friar".. has a unique (if somewhat funny) ring to it!

Second question: why does this tower get its own thread in here? It's not that great a building.

I know...right? I've seen them in Chicago as well. With all the NIMBY bullshit out there, you'd think this practice would be outlawed! It looks so tacky. If I were the architect, I'd be outraged.

clean. it looks alot like cityplace in toronto.
there are 20 buildings...and they all look pretty much like that.
anywhere from 300 to 700 feet. average about 550-600.
it looks better on its own...in manhattan.
unless if you see cityplace from a distance, it's kind fo futuristic looking.

Wow, that's nice. I like it.

I like the top, too, but it could have used more detailing here. It's a bit bland and slabby. But I like the slope, and the colors go nice together.
