ATLANTA: Midtown Development Directory

I'm new to the this board and like many others I have quickly become confused about all of the Midtown and Buckhead developments. So I created this Midtown Directory, consider it my opening offer to the board community. If you all like it and I have the time I'll create a Buckhead version.

In Atlanta Station you need to put two more spaces in between 201 17th and Twelve. 271 17th St is the next office tower to go up then 301 17th. Renderings aren't available for either atm.

Looks great otherwise! Thanks!!!

looks good. Plaza midtown is one block off though. It is between w. peachtree and spring, not to the east of w. peachtree

Update

I've updated the map directory. I had to guess on the exact location of Museum Place and Luxe (couldn't find addresses). Also, the location of the Dewberry Capital proposals in North Midtown near Bufford Hwy/85/75 are also estimated. Let me know if I'm off by a lot on any of these.

This is great! While the current construction boom is awesome, I'm a little disappointed with the diversity of architecture of these new buildings. Every single one of them is all glass....doesn't this get old?

Great idea and Nice Job!

One Museum Place is across the street from the Woodruff Center replacing addresses 1285, 1293, and 1307.
Luxe looks perfect.

I said the same thing 3 months ago. You think for a million dollar condo you would get a stone or marble exterior. Look a this Sunday Paper (AJC). They have a picture of Park Vinings. It can be found in the Business section page N8. Such a classy tower!

Let's not forget the conversion of the Sheraton into the W Midtown at Colony Square.

Is that really a go now? Been on the drawing board since '99. I had considered it vaporware about 3 years ago.

Great job!

Not all the buildings are glass curtain wall. Besides that's the predominant feel for architecture for the moment for all these towers and what the public is requesting in general now. That will change as we are beginning to see with some of the newer proposals such as the Buckhead Hilton. The mixture of periods of styels will result in a true urban character though. That's the style around the world for the moment honestly. This issue keeps coming up ever couple of months but compare stuff from 15 years ago and then stuff from 25 years ago in Atlanta. Architecture has periods just like clothing.

What about Rhodes Uptown or is that gone again from Dewberry?
