Awesome news about LRT! Good job Waterloo Region.

Did you know that we are currently planning ours here in London!

Yep, It'll be in place by around 2100 ,which is also the same year we will get a ring road and stop building expansive sprawl!

That's the same year the city of Waterloo will stop allowing developers to build ugly stucco boxes designed only for students. The same stucco boxes that create a boring culture in Waterloo

Jeez, someone can't take a compliment about their city. Also, your talking to someone from stucco city here!

Again, LRT funding is well worthy of a thumbs up!

It's absolutely huge news that W.R. got LRT. It should really shape how the Region grows. Hopefully at least. Does the Regional official plan take into account transit oriented development? I wouldn't mind seeing density really encouraged around transit stops.

And I certainly understand where jcollins is coming from. Waterloo has so many buildings that are only for students. How can that possibly create a diverse culture?
