It's absolutely huge news that W.R. got LRT. It should really shape how the Region grows. Hopefully at least. Does the Regional official plan take into account transit oriented development? I wouldn't mind seeing density really encouraged around transit stops.
And I certainly understand where jcollins is coming from. Waterloo has so many buildings that are only for students. How can that possibly create a diverse culture?
