Here's an update from Tuesday. The southern highrise is around the 8th floor deck:

The northern (and eventually taller tower) is at about floor 5:

Another 2 week update

Looks like they spent more time on the Market Street tower during the past two weeks.

Here's an animated GIF of the past 10 weeks of activity.

viewguy - I had the same thought about the AAA tower. Hope that gets done quickly.

South tower added 2 floors, North tower added 1 floor

Here's yet another animated GIF, comprising 6 images taken over 12 weeks.

and here more or less the same angle as in minesweeper's shots:

I was on vacation last week, so I couldn't grab the biweekly photo. However, timbad, I added your photo to the latest iteration of the animated GIF.

Looks like they added 2 floors to the south tower, and 1 floor to the north tower over the past 2+ weeks.

So nice to see the obliteration of the view of that hideous BofA building next door.

The former BofA Data Center was phenomenally well built with massive amounts of steel, so that's not going to happen.

Another update... the building has almost risen out of my framing

Along Market Street, the structure has reached the height of the neighboring beige building.

And here's the latest animated GIF.

yeah, i walk down this way every wednesday evening en route to the weekly street hockey game and i have to say that this past week was the first time that i really felt like the mass had made its impact, if you get me. like, the street just feels different now, more full, at least on the market st side, and being my hood, my heart practically skips a beat.

hey yeah, I know exactly what you mean, that exciting threshold when a familiar street feels transformed by a new presence. your description made me smile too.

in the past few days, i can now see the top of the southern-most building from my place, just west of south van ness. it has finally poked above the shorter portion of the white behemoth.

thanks as always, minesweeper! love that gif.

not that this adds too much to that, but since I was by there today, thought I would throw this in for kicks:

On the south side of the southernmost building, they have started installing windows on the bottom few floors.
