Well if the roof is 1,171', I would assume that the floor would be 10 - 15 feet below that.

Or I may be completely wrong.

The height to the top of the extended parapet is 1,171'. . . main roof height is at 1,131' while the height to the 96th (top) floor is 1,089'

It depends on how much leniency you want to give Trump. I give him the 1171 out of pure embarassment.

slightly O/T but those helicopters flying around were for another movie called Wanted with Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman. In addition to Batman they've been filming this movie too.

I wasn't around when the version of the building currently under construction was in it's infancy...and therefore do not recall whether the below request can be filled..........if anyone can help out:

Does anyone know the heights to each of the setbacks?

Does anyone have any floor plans - other than those on the trump tower website such as the parking garage and lobby?

I would like to build an accurate model.

You may PM me if you like.

Thanks!

There was some Batman filming in the area of IBM/Trump on Saturday. Look for signs with RFK (the "working" name for the film) written on them and arrows pointing in some direction.

Again O/T, but the Gotham City SWAT team spent all day Saturday raiding both the LaSalle Bank Building on LaSalle and the Bank of America Building on Clark. I was working next door on Saturday and watched them do the same 15-second scene over and over again for about 3 hours, half with a steady cam and the other half with the camera on a set of rails.

RFK = Rory's First Kiss. that was the letter we got at Trump a while ago. Saying that the movie would be filming outside our building.

Ok, I have a few engineering related questions regarding all of the formwork. I have a good understanding of how the self-rising formwork works on the core, but I am confused as to what the form work is for around parts of the perimeter of the slab. Additionally any info/diagrams/websites you guys may have on any of the different types of formwork wold be appreciated. I am really interested in how these things get built
