A visit to Winnipeg

http://www.nowarian.com/2006/08/index.html

Very nice (and true) blog about a visit to Winnipeg...
So true in most of it, especially: "There’s something about Winnipeg, that you just do NOT want to fuck with"
I agree that Winnipeg is harsh to live in for many reasons... but I also like how basically nobody gives a damn about it and they just go through.
There are also nice words about the North End, i never really went there, gotta visit it.

interesting blog post.. i completely agree about people looking you in the eye on the sidewalk.. coming from B.C., it took a while to get used to. people there refuse to make eye contact.. here it's like a pre-resquite.

When we do this the question we ask to ourselves is:

Is this person a potential Friend (that I'd maybe one day like to get to know), or a potential Foe (that I should be wary of)?

This is tight. It's good to see Winnipeg hip hop getting some recognition.
