Well, there's this little trickle of water:

but being a Canadian show there will probably be a limit of one "wonder" per
province, so it might get forgotten..... I imagine throughout the world that
Niagara Falls is considered a fairly important natural feature.

Josh - I was going to suggest the same thing when I saw the "regular climate phenomena"...

The record for fastest (and most extreme) change was in Pincher Creek where the temp went from -19c to 22c in ONE HOUR...

From the natural resources website here: http://atlas.nrcan.gc.ca/site/englis...erweather.html

If that's not a wonder, I don't know what is..

Also, VID, the Boreal Forest is not unique to Canada, but it's importance in the world is often forgotten...and over 1/3 of our land is of this biome. I believe it is also home for 70-80% of North America's birds summer migration/nesting.

Mount Thor was also voted the number 1 natural feature in Explore! magazine last year...truly a sight that most Canadians have never seen. It is Earth's greatest vertical drop of 4100 feet...over a 1000 feet more than the well-known El Capitan in Yosemite.

Milkyway - though I love the Rockies and CN Tower as much as anyone, try not to let the "popular" spots that everyone knows overshadow some of these others that most of us don't really see...like Mount Thor.

Rideau Canal system.
I'd say the Trent-Severn Canal is more impressive. Longer distance, more man-made channels, a marine railway, two hydraulic lift locks including the highest in the world, and it crosses higher, rougher terrain. The Rideau was finished 88 years earlier though. Both were pretty much obsolete for their original purposes once they were finished.

The St. Lawrence Seaway is more impressive than both.

Not to mention the La Grande hydro-electric complex in Northern Quebec.

Victoria's breakwater is a quirky and lesser known bit of man-made Canadiana. It's about a half a mile long and I've always presumed that it's the longest breakwater in Canada but I don't know if that's actually true.

Ahhh... thanks Habsfan. I still think the Big O is a beautiful piece of architecture. The whole building could
be the nomination.

A case could be made for this ugly monster, still considered to be the world's busiest freeway:

I don't think the Halifax Citadel is any larger than the one in Quebec City, but then again it is only one of a dozen or more masonry fortifications around the harbour. Five of them are national historic sites. Maybe the Halifax "defence complex" or Halifax Harbour could be considered a national "wonder" for their historic significance.

The 401 is pushing it but the trans-canada highway and railways would be obvious candidates.

The CN Tower and Niagara Falls would both be good candidates for Ontario. Parliament Hill could also be considered. For Quebec it would be the Quebec Bridge and Olympic Stadium/tower. Maybe the Toronto subway or Montreal metro would also be candidates. Of course, most of these have been mentioned already.
