Performance Tip for SimCity

I found a cheap way to make SimCity 4 run better....

I have a Dell Laptop that was the bottom of the line when I bought it a year ago, and SimCity 4 has dragged....

For the heck of it, I went out and added 1 GB or ram...$50. It's awesome!

So, just wanted to spread an FYI for those in the same boat..... add RAM!

...and what do you do if you can't run a $3000 comp on hardware mode? I've been told that it only happens with Radeon X1000's...

Ouch!

Can you shove a $30 card in there, and run Dual-display?

A $30 card is pretty much embedded graphics, and Sim City 4 can't run widescreens out of the box, nevermind dual-displays...

The dual-display for Supreme Commander is pretty nice tho!
