Not sure what to think of this one, a little to PoMo for me, maybe it's just the colour choice. It might also be the poor base or that boxy feature on the upper left. I'm sure this will see a design change before it goes any further.

An application for a 46 storey mixed use tower has been submitted to the city of Toronto for 18 Lower Jarvis.

No blueprints yet.

Here is an overview of land availability.
Legend

Red - 18 Lower Jarvis
Yellow- Available Parking lots
Green - Municiple Works lot

And a quick mock up, with park thrown in though it would be a great space for a park.

Check out this crazy development. It's been approved and the sites under excavation. It's in one of Victoria's Suburbs. On top of a mountain. Total units 1000 in four towers.

The photo is of the 27 story model which is the shortest of the four towers.

Also a 12 story office tower is in Jeperody because it's being proposed to close to this old church in Old Town Victoria. Though right across the street an 18 story residential building is going up.

I would like to see these look a little more different from each other, I hate the "Calgary Twin" scheme.

I was aware of the Concourse is being saved, but is the office proposal for that block still going ahead, be it in a modified form?

Cresford is planning on building a 29 story condo at the SW corner of Yonge and Merton Streets (Merton Yonge Condominiums) and I am happy to report that there is now a re-zoning notice on the premises.

It's not a tall one at 29 floors but the views south facing should be quite awesome because it will overlook Mount Pleasant Cemetery with nothing in sight until you hit Yonge and St. Clair.

I didn't get a chance to get the file number. Anyone have an idea of what this will look like? Any info, most appreciated.
