Calgary: Rooftops, Planes & Parades

These are from this morning, where fellow forumer polishavenger got us up onto some rooftops. I needed some shots for work and decided to deviate a bit...

great shots, well except for the building that looks like DUBAI took a crap in calgary.

That building alone caused big changes in design guidelines and spurred the creation of an urban design panel based on Vancouver's (which was brought about by Brent Toderian - Vancouver's Urban Planner - when he was still working in Calgary as the head of the Centre City Committee). It will not happen in the future.

^The pano is simply cool. No other way to describe it. also it a vantage point that hasn't been seen before.
