there used to be links on the alberta infrastructure page, but they are gone now. IIRC, it was up to 10 lanes wide between YHD and WMD...

I'm looking for the future interchanges between Yellowhead West and Calgary Trail. They don't have them anymore on the government website so I wondered if I could find them elsewhere.

The RIRO at 111 Avenue will ultimately be an interchange.

The Whitemud Drive interchange will eventually be reworked to replace the lights for the E to N and W to S movements with directional ramps. That won't happen until Whitemud Drive is extended further west and the need for an interchange at Lewis Estates Boulevard/Guardian Road will change the ramp configuration at WMD/AHD.

Terwillegar Drive interchange will be reworked when 170 Street eventually becomes a freeway.

127 Street was to have an interchange. There was information on the COE website but I looked just now and it is no longer there. I think it had something to do with council kiboshing the 119 Street bridge over the ravine.

^No, 127 Street (which will be called Heritage Valley Trail) will have an interchange regardless of the decision to not go ahead with constructing the bridge.

Probably. Not sure why the info was removed from the website though.

Likely provisions for such, but not a pressing concern considering cost/benefit ratios. Without the traffic demand numbers, it will likely remain that way.

P3 CANADA FUND TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMPLETION OF THE EDMONTON RING ROAD

On behalf of the Honourable Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance, the Honourable Tim Uppal, Minister of State (Democratic Reform) and Member of Parliament for Edmonton–Sherwood Park, today announced the Government of Canada’s investment in a public-private partnership (P3) to support the construction of the North Saskatchewan River crossing, which is a critical component to the completion of the overall Northeast Anthony Henday Drive. The Minister was joined at the event by the Honourable Ric McIver, Minister of Transportation for Alberta.

Subject to entering into a financing agreement with the Government of Alberta, the Government of Canada will contribute up to $36.8 million through the P3 Canada Fund towards the construction of the North Saskatchewan River crossing. The contractor, Capital City Link General Partnership, will design, build, partially finance, and operate and maintain the project over a 34-year period. The first four years will be the construction phase.

From EJ:
"As a result of near whiteout visibility and poor road conditions, Anthony Henday Drive is being shut down until conditions improve. The closure is expected to last for several hours."

Let the good times roll...not sure how this is being enforced.
