Interesting opportunity to observe the hopelessly deranged

in case anyone's interested - any psychology students here? - there's a chance to observe (and heckle) the delusional randal o'toole tomorrow night (the 20th) at powell's on hawthorne.

randal, of course, is the guy who runs what he calls the "thoreau institute" and tries to tell portlanders how they should live from his hideout down in bandon. i urge each of you to go to the reading and loudly discuss your last bout of diarrhea (how appropriate) during his talk.

I'm interested in finding out who in Portland would go see Randy the Toole, especially on Hawthorne? I'd love it if there was actually a protest against the fuck, but I'm not in Portland this week so I unfortunantly wont be able to be there...
