Just to confirm, Concord Pacific did buy the Skytowers development, despite what their sales centre might tell you.

Does anyone know when sales actually start for Park Place? It's pretty poor timing to be launching right now...

Where did you hear that? I called Concord about this months ago and they said that the only land they own is the remaining "Infinity" land so they will be completing the project although it may not be the same as the original plan.

They said that the land for sky Towers was owned by another developer and they have nothing to do with it???

They only closed on the purchase of the SkyTowers site about a week ago...

To be honest, I'm not even really sure why they bought it. There is very little sales activity in Surrey right now and to be honest, I'm surprised they're actually planning to launch Park Place (as opposed to waiting a few months).

the current tower that is proposed for beside sky towers is huge. But Surrey is only letting it slide if Sky towers get built. or something of there size. But if they dont Surrey may rezone both lots making for smaller buildings on these lots. So by getting it now and putting in a proposal for towers of sky towers sizes they got a better chance of it passing.

that ones a little far back to be the location of the fourth and fifth tower. Looks more like there finishing the other little building area first.

the way surreys been doing things i doubt it surrey seems to turn a blind eye when it comes to streets being lined with shops and clubs. In there plans they dont seem to have anything planned like robson or granville. Its stupid planning by the city

don't they want to focus the shops off KGH though? leave it has the roadway and have people and retail develop on the side streets more

That begs the question as to how exactly they're going to get that crane out from the middle of the construction when it's embedded in the ground like that...
