Sorry, I should have read your question. There's nothing but a parking lot currently on the site along with an exit ramp from Woodall. I'm not sure about the future of this exit ramp after construction on Museum Tower starts.

Yes, the entire ramp loop connecting to Olive will remain, but not under the building. The Museum Tower site is contained entirely within the offramp loop. That other surface parking lot outside the loop is a separate parcel and is not part of the Museum Tower development.

^^^ Those all look cool. Except Square looks a little....square/bland, but good nonetheless.

Now if only they were taller. Heh.

^^How much taller would you want them to be? They're already all pretty far out of scale for that part of the city.

I wish it was denser, personally, and lower....5-20 stories of mostly building - less park and less parking.

^^^ I don't care if they were taller or not. I was kidding, for the most part. I like them the way they are.

Museum Tower will be a gem
12:00 AM CST on Sunday, January 13, 2008
http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcont...1.2aede42.html

For the last 10 years, John Sughrue and Dan Boeckman have been parking lot operators – and only marginally profitable ones at that.

Now these urban pioneers are about to transform the Dallas skyline by finally turning their 67,000 square feet of parking-lined asphalt in the Dallas Arts District into 125 luxury condominiums called Museum Tower.

The site for the $185 million tower overlooks the planned Woodall Rodgers Park and is next to the Nasher Sculpture Center. Construction should begin in the summer and be completed in the fall of 2010.
