This property could have been demolished. The price of land in that area of town must be pretty high. It is nice that the owners/developers felt it was worth saving and doing a do-over! The architectural lines are so clean.

got a tour of the property from the manager over there yesterday...and i have to say, they did a beautiful job on the remodel. i can't believe it was ever a days inn...
it's definitely one of the nicer hotels in portland, now.
the rooms look really nice...you wouldn't eve know the piece of garbage that used to sit there. great linens. high and furnishes...and of course, LCD tvs.
