It looks to have the same cladding design as the bankrupt one up the street as well as Armoury Place... the faux-stone concrete blocks on the bottom and red brick disease above. Sad.
It reminds me a lot of the Lexington. If it turns out that way, I will be pleased, if it turns out like something in Clayton Park, well, I don't really need to say...
I was walking by this today and i noticed they demolished the house(s) on the other side of wellington street. Its a very small lot but does anyone know what they are going to do with this?
Unfortunately i didn't have my camera on me but on the Wellington street corner of the building they had outlines of the windows on the first couple of floors.

Believe the cancer society bought the house and tore it down. Not indications of the building they own expanding yet.
That is sad. Halifax is losing alot of quality buildings... I'm not an advocate for the hertiage trust, but I would like to see some developments on new lands.
