Ahh alright, just seems like this project is slow to progress, compared to some of the others. Then again, the Ritz was pokey getting above grade too, and now it's going up really quickly...

and here is a timely update posted by current over at SSC and also at urbantoronto.ca.....trump is above grade!!

January 20

Trump is now above ground level. From Adelaide looking southwest.


From Bay Street with the National Club on the right.


From Bay looking northeast towards BAC.


Looking west towards Bay. Soon this view will be blocked.





I think the location where I was standing to take this photo will be the entrance to the ramp to the above ground parking.


This is the area above the turntable.

Cool, I guess the main superstructure of the building is going to go up pretty quickly now that they are above grade...thanks for the updates!

this is a pretty sweet project.....one day i would like for someone to try building around a 100 story building in toronto! that would be freakin awesome!!!!

i don't think we'll ever build something which would take away from the CN Tower. Its become an icon.

One Bloor would've had a good nuumber of floors, but i doubt that project will continue. Keep those pictures coming caltrane 74!!!!!!!!
