Given location, this building complex will certainly bulk up the skyline. I've hated that parking lot next to the Sheraton fpr as long as I can remember.

True, now that I think of it should give the impression of completely filling the hole between CCE and le 1250 when observed from the south.

A new condominium project is coming to Hampstead. It will be known as Le Belvedere, and its promoter is Benvenuto Group (the same as those behind Le Peterson and Onyx in Montreal, as well as 83 Redpath in Toronto) and Crofton Moore Developments.

Here is a rendering of the ground level, unfortunatley, I don't have a rendering of the whole building. According to an article in The Suburban, the final plans will be released in late May or early June.

According to Hamptead's website it will be a 16 floor building.

It was originally going to be put up by McGill Immobilier, although Benvento bought the land instead. Here are the renderings from McGill (which will likely change, now that it's a different developer). It is obvious that the ground floor level is already quite a bit different.

Also good to see the Southam get going as well, it is loooong overdue.

MTLskyline, that hampstead tower proposal has been around for a few years am I right? I'm scared to see what Benvenuto has done to the proposal, especially the townhouses-podium.

The original Hampstead proposal is between 1-2 years old.. The fact that Benvenuto Group requested such a tacky design is indeed a little worrisome.

MONTREAL - Montreal’s airport authority is going back to the drawing board on its long-discussed train shuttle between Trudeau Airport and downtown.

Its latest proposal: an elevated light-rapid transit system running along Highway 20 and the Ville Marie Expressway, perhaps arriving downtown in a new dedicated station, Aéroports de Montréal chief executive James Cherry said Thursday.

But the project is at a very preliminary stage, only a fraction of the required funding is in place and it’s unclear when or if it will be built.

The train would be modelled after Vancouver’s Canada Line, an automated driverless system that connects downtown to Vancouver International Airport and the city of Richmond. It opened in 2009. Cost: $2 billion.

je ne sais pas si ce projet était déjà mentionné, je m'essaie quand même, il faudra me pardonner hihi! C'est Luz Condos, dans le quartier Triangle Côte-des-neiges. Il est présentement en préconstruction, c'est un immeuble de 117 unités, plafonds de 9 pieds, cours intérieure et autres.. je vous laisse le lien vers leur site web: http://luzcondos.com/fr/accueil/

Eh bien, j'aime bien la densité, mais l'architecture est nul. Ou sont les architectes talentueux? Ou sont les Dévelopeurs avec de la vision?
