Konstantynow Radio Mast, the mast radiator of the central Polish longwave broadcasting station at Gabin-Konstantynow approximately 90 kilometres northwest of Warsaw was between 1974 and 1991 world's tallest structure. Even after its collapse on August 8th, 1991 during restauration work, it took 13 years after mankind started to build something taller!
