Thumbs up No reservations does Vancouver...

Great show called, "No reservations" profiles Vancouver's culinary scene, with nothing but good things to say about our city....other than the rain of course.

Great stuff. Quite the positive view of Vancouver. Too bad it rained the whole show but I always like the thought of eating a nice warm meal as the rain pours down outside. My best memories of going to Vij's were on nights like that. Indian food is a great thing to warm you up on a cold rainy Vancouver night. I honestly think Vancouver's raininess has helped to create the foodie culture it has. When it rains so much, everybody just wants to be inside eating.

Great show.
It's funny, but I've never eaten at Vij's or Tojo's. I'm going to make a commitment this summer to hit up both. Any recommendations from the menus?

Great find!

"and that is how Gastown, Vancouver's oldest neighbourhood came to be... founded on the shoulders of desperate alcoholics by an entrepreneurial bar owner."

I love it!

[By the way, this was my 1,300th post]
