Calgary -- Winter/Spring 2008 -- Mixed Bag o' Goodies

Well, I've had various shots sitting around my computer, some of which I've posted on the forum, others I haven't. When at home I tend to focus on buildings and development, not on people... so don't expect fancy people shots. Maybe it's because I take Calgary for granted, maybe not. I'm also rather sedentary given that I'm a student. But you will get to see some angles that you might not have seen before.

Enjoy

Great photos, some of them are new to me.
What's with photo #28, where is that?

Great pictures! I believe photo 28 is the window coverings at Visions Eye Care in Chinatown on the NW corner of 3rd Avenue and Centre Street so you can only seem them once the store closes. There's a larger image on the window along Centre Street as well. I really like them and I think it gives a cool vibe to Chinatown.

Very nice indeed! I really like the ones from the Calgary Tower and the telephotos with the mountains in the background.

Awesome pictures Boris. Really loved the aerials...and no snow!

It's pretty cool hearing the Denver guys comment on the many similarities between our two cities!

Just noticed your thread Boris. You have seriously become quite the photographer over the last few years. Also, the Bridges look great from that height.
