Outstanding photos bigtime.

Could you post the larger version of this one please? I'd like to make it my new desktop.

Did the tour group talk any about climate change and its effect on the region. I would be very interested in hearing about that aspect of your trip. You are one lucky person to be able to go there! Wow!!!!!! The closest Ive been to Antarctica would probably have to be Curacao, lol.

It was definitely a big topic of discussion. The geologist on board did a whole talk on it during our passage down to the penninsula on our 2nd day on board.

I'm bringing this sucker back from the dead, I just uploaded about 30 more pictures to my set of this trip on Flickr. I had forgotten about uploading them after I switched to pro last year.

It's currently -30 celsius in Calgary with windchill this morning, perhaps why I was thinking about Antarctica. Which was actually much warmer than that when we were there!

I saw the pics on Flickr yesterday and though "wow, it has snowed a lot in Calgary", then I read the titles.
Those hot springs looked awesome. I love sitting in a hot tub when it's snowing out, and I imagine that's similar except the spring would be hotter and the weather colder, only enhancing the experience.

fucking awesome. It is on my list of places to visit (considered going last year, but with two young kids...impossible). My bucket list includes all continents. Still need to do Africa, Antarctica and South America.

Didn't you notice on the plane when you started talking, eventually I started reading the vomit bag?

The trip is worth every penny.

I've got two more continents to complete all seven. Just Africa and Australia remaining.
