Still in the early stages, but this one will shoot up before you know it...

It'll probably take off after the cantilever. I believe that's coming up in just a couple floors.

Vornado moved those air rights next door (to the Hotel Pennsylvania site).

Looking down, you can really see how small the footprint is for this tower...

Heh, would figure though the one I found the most interesting is still in the form of a crater in the ground. Oh well, can’t be greedy, still made out pretty good.

What's the tall building just down 6th Avenue from this project (the tall one seen here at about 29th or 30th Street)?

Just one more to go to fill that gap, hopefully sooner rather than later. Can't stand to see that big lot in between two rising towers.

Sadly, I have pretty low expectations for this one. However, there's always hope to be pleasantly surprised...

(Will Femia)

Ever since a deal with labor unions cleared the way for the 47-story rise of Tower 111, it's been all systems go at Sixth Avenue and 32nd Street. Checking in on the current look of construction, it's clear the building won't be hit by any taxis at night while delivering pizzas.

Amazing progress in such little time. Now fill in that last pit one block to the south.
