One of the fastest towers to rise.

It has not been topped-out, says CTBUH: http://buildingdb.ctbuh.org/?do=city...NYC&country=US

Have a look at the colours used to show the buildings current status.

Again, I saw it yesterday with my own eyes, and I do believe it has been topped out. But if it hasn't, it won't rise much at all from where it is now.

Although this building borders on bland, it does help to modernize an area of midtown which could use a touch "glass", given all the pre-World War II buildings in the area. Same could be said for the Eventi further down 6th.
For this reason I would say it is a welcome addition to the lower mid-town skyline.

Together, both towers have added a sense of "canyonization" to the Herald Square area, primarily a shopping district. I look at these towers rising up, and imagine the proposed Hotel Penn tower rising up much higher.

That photo captures nearly every significant building under construction in Manhattan right now. Impressive.

This is about as good as filler can get. No complaints here.

This is what I mean when I refer to the "canyonization" of Herald Square. Just preparing us for the Hotel Penn tower that will rise nearby...

BOA is the major help to this looking like a canyon, though, because before it, this view would have prominently featured all of the dead space in front of Time Life and the other towers across from Rock Center. They do not help with the street wall at all.
