NORTH AMERICAN ROAD TRIP | Montreal/Quebec City/Toronto/Detroit/Chicago - part 2

Get caught up; part 1: http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=159078
and now, part 3: http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=159668

Day 9: Got into Montreal late and got a hotel room downtown

Day 10: Explored Montreal

Smoking doctors

My buddy didn't want his pants to wrinkle...

Crazy ass traffic lights

Mont Royal

Day 11: Explored Quebec City

Very crowded streets

Day 12: Arrived in Toronto and spent time with relatives

Day 13: Visted downtown

Lots of people on Yonge Street!

Now THAT's an urban canyon

Super thin and tall building

Hockey Hall of Fame

Original Stanley Cup

Lifeless.

Guess where this view is from.......

The Money Shot

Fairly dense sprawl

MissisSMOGga

Cheers from the top, first time posting a photo of myself :O

Before Toronto, I didn't think people actually played chess in parks

Mooned

Day 14: Went to the Jays game and saw them lose about 11-4 to Boston and then found my way to a rooftop party downtown and only took one drunken pic

Day 15: More relatives in Guelph and then Ribfest, no photos

Day 16: Chicago via Detroit

Crossing the border into a land of cheap gas. When I left BC it was 1.47/litre!

America that-a-way

I've posted this before... it's really sad (don't forget to look at the license)

ROCK CITY was a little quiet

Why, today looks like a good day to invest!

Decay

State number 3

Hotel room view, and in the distance: Great Lake number 4 of this trip

Had some delicious deep dish pizza....... so good

Up the Hancock, Gothem City below

Day 17: Explored Chicago

As tradition, the breakfast shot

Wynham Chicago top floor muthafuckas

Do those ads really work on anyone...

I didn't know where the bean was, but this will do

Facades

Trump Chicago looking amazing

The river

Heading to Sears Tower...

...but I think that's enough photos for now. Maybe I should have promised 4 parts instead of 3?

Coming up next time: More of the Loop, Chicago from Sears Tower, Lincoln Park area, the Mississippi, a run in with a windmill, the Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Hardcore Buffalo Porn, Big Horn Mountain Pass, a run in with the police, Yellowstone National Park, Idaho, and Washington.

A preview of things to come:

Nice Job. some very different cities, that's for sure, and I've been to every one of them. Montreal is the craziest place i've been on earth. Detroit's the most depressing place. Chicago is unique, and Toronto is my metropolis in my backyard.

keep it up..what a great opportunity! I want to do a NA roadtrip pretty bad.

Haven't been to Quebec City yet, but feel at home in all the others. Likewise, I'd like to get on the road again.

Nice pics.

Awesome thread. So many nice cities. I especially liked the ones of Montreal. That city has got to have the most European look of any North American city. And upon my arrival in Toronto, the first thing I think I'll is visit the CN Tower.

Great shots .That must have been one epic roadtrip. You should have visited NYC though cause it's only about a 5 hr drive from Montreal.
