Thanks for these pics, 1st time I see Mount Rushmore on these forum, I'd like more US National Parks.

I visited the Ravin de Corboeuf this summer (I posted some pics: here) and this area reminded me some photos I've seen on a NP but I didn't remember which one, I searched the internet with no result, I was beginning to think that I ... so it was the Badlands!!! thank you very much for posting this thread!

Haha, this is funny, I took almost the same trip about a week or two after you posted these, but going the opposite direction (first Badlands, then Black Hills).

You got some nice pictures, brings back good memories.

Do you remember where you took these two? They look so familiar.

Great pictures. Such a fantastic area of our country (Rushmore is quite impressive, even if it is incredibly corny). This thread brings back memories of family vacations past. Thanks for sharing.

best drive in the hills next to Needles scenic hwy

Awesome, then it looked familiar because we went that same way. We were so glad we went that way instead of back out to Rapid City directly.

The only reason we even did that drive was a recommendation from a "travel counselor" at one of the South Dakota tourist information centers.
