Too bad CN does not paint the subway pink and let people paint murals on the panels any more. I still think that was one of the best civic ideas I've ever seen.
Last time I was in Moncton Floral Avenue still had greenhouses, Champlain mall had just been built and the Tower was only a few years old. Big pile o'sawdust west side of The Marsh, too.
Thanks for the comment TMA, sorry I didnt reply sooner haha...yeah I have heard that CN used to allow people to paint on the train bridge in the past however I never saw it myself. Its too bad, I think that would be really nice, right now its solid grey and has to be repainted every year because its a graffiti magnet. Everyone knows that people are much less likely to graffiti over a mural than a blank wall, so I think they should bring it back.
Moncton has changed a lot since the 70's, you should really come for a visit!
