People often say Manhattan is overrun by glass skyscrapers, and I wonder if they've ever seen the place.

I love the canyons, but i think it stands out more because most of the buildings arent just glass boxes, they have such great architecture and its just so beautiful.

Also, I can't wait for the next canyon with the hudson yards redevelopment and all the other projects in that area, that will be a great canyon of several 1000+ footers! ;D

Nope. It's not about the architecture at all. The canyons are canyons because that's basically what they are - wall to wall skyscrapers with sliver of sky up above.
Some people call that overbuilt. I call it the City.

I meant the canyon isnt just made of glass buildings, but with buildings with great architecture. i know what canyons are
