They're definitely in there now: the pile driver has been working over the last three days.

I'm going to try to do a photo of the site every day until the project is done and create a time-lapse video. Does anybody have any recommendations for good software to do this? Linux is preferred, but I can do Windows as well.

Cool it's great to see the progress taking place there...I remeber the last time I drove past this location on my way somewhere, and I saw that the little building and parking lot that used to be there, had already been removed...

They're still digging, but I believe they're almost done. The hole looks about three stories deep.

One3One - Domicile

I see the sign indicates occupancy in 2013. Has it been delayed?

I would imagine that the height haters of the neighbourhood are in sheer terror now that there is a crane that tall erected where it is...I think it spells the approval of more midrise-to-highrise developments in hintonburg and wellington west being approved in the future...

One3One occupancy

I would like some opinions - my Outside Occupancy Date (as stated in my Agreement of Purchase and Sale) is November 26, 2012. Over 2 months ago I asked Domicile if this date remains valid; I am still waiting for an answer. As per the Tarion warranty, the Outside Occupancy Date is the latest date that the Vendor agrees to provide occupancy and if it doesn't come to pass, then I can terminate my purchase within 30 days of this date.

So, what are my chances that I will be in my condo by November 26th of this year?

Thanks!

0%. If they have the building fully enclosed by that point I would be impressed.

It will probably be 2-3 months to get back up to grade. 1.5-2 weeks per floor above that (you don't get the high production on a shorter building) so roughly 12-16 weeks for the structure. That puts us roughly Mid July to Mid August. Occupancy would probably be 9 months from that point, best case scenario. I would expect spring 2013.

Cheers,
Josh

Agreed - I'm in the Wellington at Island Park (see the thread for numerous construction photos, or search for "Exewau" on Flickr).

Looking back we were at a similar stage this time last year, and we are moving in in March.

Drove past this location yesterday, and snapped a picture of the crane in action...there was a LOT of activity, with concrete trucks lined up out front, and other equipment on the go...

This project looks pretty far along for just being a proposal.

Can you post your picture of the crane? I'd like to see it in action. Thanks.
