Sorry for the corny title illustration (supposed to be an overhead view of a train on tracks...didn't work too well), but I thought I would start up a photo thread on trains. I like them. I like taking pictures of them. I like looking at other pictures of them. Please post train pictures here.

That is the Shuswap Lake area in the interior of British Columbia

We vacation there every summer.

weird... I love trains, but I have relatively few photos (except I do have lots of the MAX here in Portland.

British Columbia

Vancouver Skytrain (out the window of the car)

New York – LIRR in Forest Hills, Queens

New York – 7 Train in Jackson Hts, Queens

New York… maybe West 4th St, Manhattan

(not sure if the streetcar counts... probably not, but it's got rails!)

Great shots! I wish we had street-cars here in Chicago. It would be such a cool/bizarre/intimidating site to see a train rolling down the street.

Traveling in Tokyo from Odaiba to Shinbashi by train, looking at another train.

Even the signs on the trains warning of closing doors are super kawaii in Tokyo.

A Metro is a store for pro, they sell everything for small stores, restaurants, offices... from cartridge to food, here's a link to Metro India, the only one I found in English http://www.metro.co.in/, but the Metro cash & carry group is present in 28 countries, mainly in Europ...
