Balneario El Cóndor is a village located on the south bank of the mouth of the Negro River in the Argentine Sea, on the atlantic coast. It is the first in a succession of beaches over 150 km. (93 miles) in length. The cliff area is home to the world's largest colony of parrots.

TUNDUQUERAL GREEN VILLAGE
Las Heras Department - Mendoza Province



The village is a green project located one mile northeast the town of Uspallata on Provincial Route 52. Surrounded entirely by mountains, in many ways reflects the high plateau of Tibet (right here was shot the 1997 film with Brad Pitt, "Seven Years in Tibet"). An oasis of green land which lies between the Cordillera and Precordillera, with mountains that rise from 3,500 to 7,000 meters, all perfectly flat, with water supply thanks to the St. Alberto Canal, passing side.

BLANCAS HILLS

Blancas Hills (“White Hills”) is a formation in the center of the great geologic district known as “Deseado Massif”. According to several investigations, this geological formation dates from the time of Middle and Upper Jurassic. It is believed there are great amount of gold and silver deposits near the hills and different mining companies are interested in the exploration of the area.

Camellia sinensis is an evergreen plant that grows mainly in tropical and subtropical climates. Tea plants require at least 127 cm (50 inches) of rainfall a year and prefer acidic soils. A tea plant will grow into a tree of up to 16 m (52 ft) if left undisturbed, but cultivated plants are pruned to waist height for ease of plucking. In 2010, world tea production reached over 4.52 million tonnes. The largest producers of tea are the People's Republic of China, India, Kenya, Sri Lanka, and Turkey.
Argentina is the ninth producer of tea at world-wide level, with 96,572 tonnes (in 2011) and is the only non Asian nor African country in the top 10. The argentine tea region is located in the extreme Northeast of the country, and represents the world’s southernmost area for tea plantations.

AURORA ISLANDS

Aurora Islands are six small uninhabited islands in the westernmost extreme of Georgias del Sur Archipelago, 150 miles west of San Pedro Island. They cover a total area of less than 20 hectares (49 acres). They have a peak elevation above sea level of 74 metres (246 ft). Temperatures average −1.2 °C (29.8 °F), rarely climbing above 15 °C (59 °F). There is no significant vegetation.
