Phoenix: Most Popular Landmarks? Most Unusual Landmarks?

Note: This was initially posted under the Mountain West category but it was suggested that Southwest is where it should be.

What would you consider to be the most popular landmarks or points of interest in Phoenix and/or metro area?

What would you consider to be the most odd or unusual landmark or site that is in Phoenix?

Camelback Mountain is the answer to both questions. Its the main landmark in the City. Its also unusual because, how many Cities have a mountain that looks like a camel taking a nap in the middle of them?

Our first Governor, Gov. Hunt, is buried in a small white pyramid in a major city park. Thats unusual too.

Anyone who has never been to Phoenix should visit the Heard Museum.

Mystery Castle on South Mountain is an unusual landmark.

So is Tovrea Castel
