Great shots and love seeing areas outside of downtown. You can feel the hipsters in this area. I will be out there in mid May and may PM you for some recommendation on where to go in your great city!

After reading this story in the Star Tribune today about the last single family home left in the downtown Minneapolis core at 816 Park Avenue, I wish I would have gotten some pictures! After all the time I spent down there I never noticed the house which is right next to Hennepin County Medical Center. Here's a couple of links to the stories (great photos on your thread, btw!!)

As you can see, the house (built in 1870) has been neglected for so many decades that I don't think it would be possible to bring it back due to the amount of weather damage, etc., but what a shame that it hadn't been kept up over the years so that there would be some piece of Minneapolis (and Minnesota) history left in an otherwise sterile looking downtown where it's becoming all office towers and half-million dollar condos.

The new baseball stadium has a modern look so far...unlike the throwback look of many others
