78 photographers, spread across several blocks of downtown attracted allot of attention. People stopped their cars and asked if we were waiting for someone famous - they assumed we were paparacci.
As for security, they weren't much of a problem.
At BOA, the security guards stayed inside, but watched us like a hawk. The property line between BOA and the public sidewalk is clearly defined, so we stayed on our side and all was well.
At Fountain Place, the guard chatted with us for a while. He told us that we couldn't use tripods on the building property, but we were free to roam around with hand-held cameras.
At the Hunt tower, I arrived quite late, but ahead of the others, and the building wasn’t particularly illuminated. The guard came out and asked what we were doing, and when I told her that nearly 80 photographers were coming her way, she immediately spoke to someone on her radio. Five minutes later, the place was illuminated like a Christmas tree, which was cool.
