I'll have a Pittsburgher with a side of yinz

I had planned a road trip to Pittsburgh last fall with a Cutlass Supreme I used to have but the old girl never made it through the winter, therefore I vowed to make it down to the Burgh' at some point with my new ride. Enjoy!

It's not a road trip for us unless you shuffle through Buffalo

I wanted the weather to hold up so badly

With every nook and cranny, you know it's gonna come out at you sooner or later...

Found it!

This seems to be a popular shot but nonetheless, it was the view from my balcony of the hotel

They. Love. Their. Football. Period

A quarter of the motive of the trip was partially because of this

Twins?

So we're waiting for the gates of PNC Park to open and just hangin by the riverbank and out of nowhere, we hear this *PLOP* ...5 feet later from where we were sitting, a Phillie during bp knocked one outta the park and nearly well...you know

Still looks better in a Tribe uniform

Bucs lose 3-1

Somehow we found the way to the WestEnd Overlook by accident

New Pittsburgh Arena U/C

I find that very simple concepts are emphasized on billboards and bumper stickers when I'm in the U.S...just a random quirk, but interesting

Very much a NYC feel to parts of the downtown...the Triangle, the street lights and the density, I love it

Guess the T station

Good night Pittsburgh!

...had to be back in Canada for work later that day for 4pm...but not before a stop at Tops in NY for a $13 18-pack of Bud which we'd easily pay over $20 for at home

Indeed, my favorite too.

I really like some of your quirkier shots and angles like that, thanks

Thanx guys...

I'd love to go back again soon, perhaps for a Stillers game (Go Bills!) and for another sandwich as my first one was so tasty...Capicola and Egg...I may have to hold back on some of the coleslaw next time when I DO visit again. It's like the weather cleared up for us when we got into the area and turned to dung by the time we had left. All in all though, I was very impressed

Be appreciative of the way Pittsburgh has come along over the years because you have no idea how much Hamilton envies you, with us being a junior version of yinz guys!

Great photos! The city looks especially attractive.

Is there still a common Pittsburghese spoken in the city?

Make no mistake, Pittsburgh is tiny compared to Manhattan, but I agree that the city's downtown has moments where you can pretend. The city is one of the few places in the nation with a character that can be mistaken for Manhattan on certain blocks.

Fantastic work!

BTW, its Wood Street.

Thanx again all!
I've recently just discovered the beauty of PhotoBucket and how easy it is to upload pictures. So with that said, I have more upcoming phototours of Buffalo, Vancouver/Calgary, St. Johns NFLD and a huge roadtrip I made through "BosWash"/Myrtle Beach (except the Boston part) in winter 08'

Stay tuned =D
