TAZ's World - Tempe, AZ

This is my first photo thread. Be kind.
(Constructive criticism welcome though)

I hope that these photos present a little different view of Tempe than what has been shown here before.

Tempe City Hall

Lower level - City Hall

A hidden little gem of public space right in the heart of downtown Tempe

Phoenix Metro light rail

Taken really early in the morning before the birds were even up

Tempe Center for the Arts (TCA)

The old historic Mill

That's all

FYI - For those who don't already know. Tempe is part of the Metropolitan Phoenix area

Nice shots! Good to see Tempe getting recognized.

I like how you got ASU in there. Tempe has a nice mixture of historic/modern buildings in their DT and campus area.

That is a sunrise instead of a sunset. The way my schedule can be, I am usually up and about before the birds are.

...And thanks to everyone for the comments. I have tons more pics to post. I haven't even started on Mill Ave. yet.

Great pictures, can't wait to see more. I like how you mix in the landscaping as well as the buildings.

very nice.

I told my friend that we are going to buy the mill and turn it into a brewery/brewpub. It would be the greatest thing ever.

^ Man that would be awesome! I'd love to see something like that happen with the old mill.

Fantastic photo set.. Although I wished US Airways would go out of business and let America West come back to life and continue operating in the west. Is Tempe where US Air is now HQ'ed?

wait, you want us air to go out of business so america west can come back?

America West is UsAir, so if UsAir goes out of business, then subsequently AMWEST will as well.
