Chestermere Lake

Hey Everyone,

Was such a beautiful, sunny day, so I decided to take a drive to Chestermere Lake

Hope you enjoy!

Nice greenery, but after a long, mild dry spell we're starting to get into drought conditions (hence one of many sprinklers I saw going today)

Lake

Patio on Lakefront

Expensive cars & pick up trucks - Yup, we're in Alberta!!

Nice shoreline shot

Nice lake shot 1!!

Nice lake shot 2!!

Yet more boats & water!!

Typical "surburban" housing

Steakhouse

Cute Flower Garden

Nice House

Nice House - Sorry bout the tilt, I was driving!

Nice Greenery

You pretty much caught Chestermere in its essence. Another thing to check out is the canal pathway if you go out there again

Take some bug spray with you! The last time I attempted to walk along the canal path, I was getting bugged like crazy (pardon the pun!)!

Wow! Given a different lake, I'd love to have a house like that with direct lake access!

Bugs hey? Usually I get dropped off at glenmore trail and bike to chestermere, come back to calgary along the trans canada. Quite a nice ride, I must have been going too fast for the mosquitos
