I would have thought this tower would rise quickly once past the podium. It maybe just me but this beauty is rising s-l-o-w-ly.

By the photo above it looks like the last of the podium structure is now in place, and the floor plate is a lot smaller as evidenced by the position of the forms. So the tower will probably rise faster now.

no. most of younge street is like that. 1-2 floor low-end stores.

if this boom continues, I can see much of it disappearing quite quickly though.

I know, but would you expect rational people to be working in advertising? They make up any garbage to separate you from your money: lies, coercion, and the just plain moronic. The problem is most of them have been working in it so long they don't realize how absurd they sound any more.

I don't know. When does "the sky" start? If you saw some balloons floating 800' above a field, wouldn't your natural instinct tell you that you are seeing balloons floating "in the sky"?

Quality and value sell themselves. When companies resort to pressure tactics, gimmicks, and manipulation I run for the exits. I'll say this though, there must be a ton of gullible people out there or marketing people wouldn't keep doing it.

The absolute worst condo marketing so far has to be 'London On The Esplanade'. My family are from London so found using London to sell real estate a truly bizarre combination. London is not a city to emulate when it comes to residential. London using 'Canada' or 'Toronto' to sell condos makes far more sense.

When we went in to the sales centre, we asked the sales lady if the condos will have primitive kitchens, bad plumbing, creaky floor boards, and be barely larger than a closet just like in London. She was not amused.
