I'm gonna hold out final judgement until it is complete. But as of right now I think I'm gonna side with WhipperSnapper. Yes the density it adds is super awesome! But from the look of the photos, the quality of the precast looks pretty poor. I was hoping this one would turn out more like One St Thomas.

It's hard to compare this one to One st. thomas... It's quality over quantity (height/number of units) but in Uptowns case, quantity over quality..., I don't see many 50 story towers these days maintaining top-of-the-line-high-quality materials all the way up (there are a few exceptions). Height and design are a plus but cladding is a minus

****still better than Crystal Blu next door imo.

This is helping Yorkville build a mini skyline...

of course that is determined by what your definition of the word mini is?

I remember when I was a kid if we were driving across Toronto on the 401, the Manulife, CIBC and Bay buildings where the ONLY tall buildings in that district...lot of density there now, with more on the way I'm sure...

from Casaguy at UT - Uptown and Crystal Blu, both on the list as well.

Love how Bloor is densifying... it almost feels like NYC in that area.

Loving the lines on this one. Great focus on continuity throughout the design, and a wonderful simple yet elegant crown. I have a feeling this will be a gem when it is complete. Wow.

Did they value engineer out the flying butresses at the top? It looks like they have.

yes, they have cheaped out at the top. Looks like that to me.. unreal considering what they are charging for the units in this place.
