Toronto, the big TO, now THAT's what I call a city in every sense of the word. I used to love just walking up and down Yonge St. and go off in tandem to various neighborhoods bordering it. Thanks for bringing back pleasant memories of TO.

I'll try and get some additional shots from further up and down the street...

Because, of course there is more to Yonge Street than "Yonge-Dundas"!!

...It's just that Yonge-Dundas is soooo crazy..

I'm in north York on Yonge Street today.. but until I have time to edit and repost the pictures... here is something to keep your interest...

This is from the Yonge and Wellesley Area

Now I'm back at Shuter!!!

At Dundas Square... (again!!)

Then Back to Shuter!!!

Now at Queen...

Back at Dundas!!!

Yes, I know.. Yonge Street is a long street.. and there are far more interesting sections.....
I'll make it my job to catch Yonge Street.. at Eglinton, Summerhill, and Bloor next... but first comes North York...

hey olga, here are some shots from North York city Centre (on Yonge between Sheppard and North York Civic Centre)

So suburban....... blah!!!

almost too hard to believe that 2 subway lines cross here......

Its' gonna take a long time for this place to develop into the same type of electric hub, like say...

YongeandEglinton.... (maybe another 20 years)

Time to get out of here.....

I was in Summerhill-St.Clair today.. oh my god.. what a difference. North York Yonge street is very busy during office hours.. but if there is no work, the action there tails off big time...

I still need to hit up:

Bloor-Yonge-Rosedale

YongeandEglinton

YongeLawerence
