MCC certainly has its challenges but work is being done to vastly improve the downtown core over the next 10-15 years. Quite a few projects are already on the go.

I wouldn't call Miss. a bedroom community as it's the industrial heartland of the GTA is home to 700,000 and has many highrises and a busy transit system.
The gap between the skylines is slowly filling in from the Misses to T-dot...I can remember when visiting T.O as a kid that all of that area near Front and Spadina was all train yards and brownfields...looks nothing like the way it did back in the 80's or even the 90's...
Will this be the first twisting skyscraper in North America?
It might be, but if not I think it improves on the form if there has been. I haven't seen another 'liquid' or 'rotating' form in North America that looks as sleek yet.
