The night shots have a Bladerunner look to them (unfortunately they're missing steam and smoke...you can never have too much S&S) nevertheless very nice moody photos, truely amazing city to photograph P.S. that's one awesome view you have outside your window

Excellent photography. Every photo tells a story. Speaking of which, what's the story with the bugler/performance art?

The bugler is a musician and theatre set designer named Jing Wong and the woman next to him is his sister Kay, a fashion designer. They own a fashion label called Daydream Nation. Every year, they burn a letter to their father on his death anniversary (it's Chinese custom to burn things to give to the dead in the afterlife, like paper money). This year they dedicated a new fashion line to him so they decided to make a public show of burning the letter. They walked from the boutique where their launch party was being held to Times Square, where Jing sounded a few notes on his bugle and Kay burned each page of the letter.

What a great way to honor their father. Thanks for the back story.
