Seoul 2009 - Jongno-gu continued

Continuing from Hyehwa-dong through Jongno-gu in Seoul. Generally heading west along Jongno (Bell Street).

Love the building…but it is a Wedding Hall……hmmmmm

WE SO LOVE LOVE THIS SIGN!!!!

A parking garage:

So we were looking for a club called the “Barcode”. We had been around this area once the day before looking for it and couldn’t find it. It is outside the 8th exist from the subway station (8 out of 16!!!) and all we have to do is look and it will be there. We finally took pictures of every corner at that subway station and still couldn’t see it so sent it to the bar owner (EXTREMELY NICE!!!!) and he said 2nd picture and there it was. Things are so dense in Korea. We think level one when we are pedestrians. Seoul has buildings with signs noting stores on the 6th or 7th or 8th floor. So we pleaded tourist ignorance.

Did you see it???

Okay there are hour hotels behind all this. Yes they are set up for adult sporting activities. And I finally felt better….like finally something a little “not perfect” in Korea.

Moving on…

Sometimes Seoul can be a little surreal

I tried not to shot photos of this building again!!!!

Time to pick up our Sudafed (no id and signature required…..stupid America)

Stop it!!!

Lunch time!

Where we at lunch the day before:

The guy in the orange jacket…..yes the very same Korean dude following me in December 2008 in those 1000’s of photos I took. (He is thinking…Wil you said today would be a low photo day….I promise you I tried to make this my day without taking photos).

Time to head back to the Ambassador and the sauna!!!
