Actually the pic was taken from the Somerset neighborhood in Bellevue about 3 miles south of dt Bellevue.

This almost made 7am at the office bearable. But then I remembered where I live!

You're thread title is so accurate. This week has been so amazing, I almost forgot that the Olympics were across the Sound, but this weather reminded confirmed that they are, in fact, over there. Amazing pics, they remind me why I'm proud to be a lifelong (5-generation) Seattleite.

Very nice indeed! It seems like the snow line is a little high on the Olympic and Cascade Mountains. We had it down to 2500 feet in LA a couple of days ago but its all melted below 5000 ft.

Incredible mountain backdrop. No wonder Frasier chose to live there!

Awesome pics of a great city. My favorite pics are the ones later in the day while it's getting dark. I love cities during the dark and seeing all the lights. Cities take a new life at night time.

I would love to live in the aread that overlooks the downtown and mountains. (Like one of your pics that had the grey toyota and a black car further down the street, and it overlooked the downtown.) That would be a great spot to live!

Again, great pics.

Beautiful!
I was going to say something about Seattle looking like the love child of a three-way between San Francisco, Vancouver, and Denver but that doesn't seem to quite cover it. It's greater than the sum of those parts.
Thanks for the photos.
