Thanks so much for the kind comments ColDayMan, dktshb, wco, pablosan, it is appreciated.

Sekkle: thanks. That's a lot coming from you, you always have interesting, colorful images that work amazingly off each other. And I use color and colour interchangeably.

LASam: Thank-you for the comments! I was actually debating calling this thread EDMONON | textures or somethin' akin to that due to the number of texture-styled pics...but I didn't think there was enough

espalorius: Thank you. This thread was a little bit of a disappointment for me, but the comments are helping me think otherwise. I wanted to add a little more variety, different subjects (which I did start...I mean I went to one or two unusual skyline angles, and took some suburban shots), and if I went to enough areas I was going to add little descriptions for specific areas like I did the last thread, but I figured I'd just make it continuous and let the images play off each other.

i_am_hydrogen: Thanks man, that is a lot coming from you!!!!

Thanks all for the more comments!

KingoftheHill: Thanks, yeah, that was a pretty spectacular photo, too bad it was grainy a bit 'cause I forgot to switch back my ISO Settings from the previous day.

new.slang: Thank you. I've heard it got down to -60 with wind chill somewhere in the metro, but I dunno I just heard it from somebody. The coldest I actually heard was about -48 (this is with wind chill). It was bloody cold, I'm sure even the biggest winter enthusiasts stayed in, or went to indoor places. I'm pretty sure the Muttart Conservatory was making a lot of money...

Okstate: bleh...yeah, I was checking the Vancouver, Sea, and PDX temperatures while it was really cold here. Gotta say, I was real jealous. At the time I think you guys were getting around 1 or 2°C in Portland, and around the same in the other cities. And then I heard some Vancouverites and Seattlites complain 'cause they werre (maybe portland too??) getting a little bit of snow and it was like -5. Oh my! Hop on a plane to Alberta, seriously. luckily yesterday, we approached 0 and today we're only (I can't believe i am saying only) -10 today. This weekend will be nice for more photo snappin'.

toyota74: Thank you. And -1? That's pretty nice! I had no idea Irel got that nice in winter. Very Pacific Northwestern if you ask me.

WpG GuY: Thanks man!

Nice pictures. Edmonton may be cold, but from what I've read it has a good sewage system.

Rocking that DSLR are you, EE? Nice bokeh on several shots, especially the one with the fruit.

A crop on the glass tower in the first shot would make an interesting urban abstract.
