What is replacing the Ritz-Carlton?

The Ritz-Carlton hotel was torn down, after only 16 years of existance. What will be built in it's place? Seems like a waste to destroy such a young building.

I believe it'll be a commercial building. The Ritz will relocate across the harbour to the ICC next year / 2011. The hotel floorplates may not work well being converted into commercial use due to higher ceilings and additional wiring.

What a shame! Looks pretty good, postmodern building that reminds a bit of Hilton here in Malmö. However IFC is far more spectacular!

Shortly, the Ritz will re-open across the harbour at ICC!

I am not able to express in writing how truly unique and perfect this hotel is! I just wish I was a more creative writer so I could describe how great our stay at the Ritz was.
