I feel as if this tower, once above street level, will rise quicker than most because of its small footprint. Thats what I'm hoping at least.

I'm shocked to see how small it is. With this tower be designed outerwall to core?If so how large are the floor spans?

Progress continues on the foundation. Today, tendons were installed on the core footing pads. Drilling continued for tendons to be installed on the two right hand tower footing pads. A chute was installed by the 56St. fence late this afternoon, for delivery of concrete into the three tower footings that have column reinforcement installed. The presumed method of concrete delivery will be thru the 56St. fence at the street via the chute to the turned-around excavator bucket and swung directly to the footing forms. I am presuming that concrete delivery will commence around 7:00AM (EST).

With the ramp essentially gone, one Hitachi excavator that was used to remove the ramp is now at grade level, and has been used as a crane to transfer building items and supplies down to the working level below. Per the isometric floor plan drawing superimposed over the photograph provided by scalziand, there are five tower footings left to construct.

The interest aspect in the construction of the foundation will be the final removal of the remains of the ramp at the Park Avenue side, and the pouring of the rest of the slab on grade. I am guessing that some machines will vacate the site soon.

First thing this morning, more tendons were unloaded from an extendable flatbed trailer, and stored for future installation. Immediately after, the fuel truck arrived and delivered fuel. As expected, concrete pouring commenced this morning on the tower footings. Barricades were reconfigured for concrete trucks to deliver concrete thru the 56St. fence. Pouring started with the middle footing, and continues as of this writing (8:08AM). Each bucket load is approximately 3 1/2 cubic yards.

The drill crew worked O/T yesterday on the center footing pad on the right side of the tower, and are currently working on the pad closest to the perimeter wall. It is expected that tendons will be installed soon in the three right side tower footing pads.

Thanks for giving us this cool information. I was reading your post right when the concrete was being channeled down to the shovel cranes who quickly poured it into the wooden casings.

The last of the three left hand tower footings are being poured. The drill has just been relocated to the bench for either storage for later, or removal by the Hitachi excavator up at the sidewalk level.
